Let's first acknowledge you for how far you've come. You've put in years of hard work, long hours, and dedicated yourself to get to where you are now.
You've been working towards accomplishing your career goals since graduation and finally, finally you know your abilities, you know your strengths, and you know your worth.
Emails from your boss keep pouring in. Your task list keeps growing. You begin taking on more and more responsibilities - some not even related to your position! Time starts to feel like it’s getting shorter, but the demands keep coming your way.
You keep going, as the powerful working woman that you are, checking one item off the list after another, reminding yourself daily - sometimes hourly - how much you love your career and how hard you've worked to get here.
But then you start to notice a nagging whisper inside. You can't quite make out what the whisper is saying, but you know it's there.
It's a familiar whisper growing inside... tired... overwhelmed... tired... stressed-out... tired...
And slowly, almost deceivingly, this feeling starts to leak into your personal life...
√ Your girlfriends aren't surprised anymore when you group text to bail on happy hour.
√ You catch yourself getting short and snapping at those closest to you.
√ Your yoga mat's now being used as a combination dust collector and resting place for the growing pile of books you'll read "someday."
√ Your cuticles probably haven't felt the magic of a good mani / pedi since Shonda Rimes released her last femme hero out into tv land.
√ The carefully curated lives you see on Instagram sparks more cynicism inside of you than Manolos in Carrie Bradshaw's closet.
Should we talk about feeling sexy? Because I'm willing to bet that's often the last thought on your mind these days.
If alarms are sounding off for you right now, after reading all of this, I’ve got bad news and I’ve got good news.
My experience with burnout is no different from yours. As a hardworking professional female, I set out to build a business thinking the more I gave of myself, my time, my energy, the more successful I would be.
Things were going great. Business was thriving and I was rocking it as the badass boss lady I thought I wanted to be.
And then it all took a turn in 2015. In a matter of months, my then fiance (now husband) was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and encountered a devastating incident resulting in one less toe.
Two incomes immediately became one, and my drive and determination kicked into high gear. Honestly, I wasn’t worried, I was a professional ballerina with the Boston Ballet for 4 years. I know pressure. I thrived on it.
And wouldn’t you know it, that drive and determination worked. I built an incredible company with hundreds of clients. It was amazing ….. until it wasn’t.
That’s when I started noticing all the undesirable results this drive was causing… sleepless nights, weight gain, constant anxiety attacks, and moods so cranky that even I didn't want to be around myself.
I was caught on what I had thought to be an endless cycle until one morning I finally woke up. Literally.
After years of yoga and mindfulness training, and building a successful business based off of those two practices, it finally dawned on me that it’s not enough on its own. Considering I was barely making much of an effort to achieve soulful mindfulness at that moment as it was, so I was really at a deficit on the situation.
And so I set out on a journey to uncover what I was missing. It took a few months but once I discovered the key element I was completely ignoring in my life, and combined it with my mindful practices …. whew - ladies - things started taking a total turn for the better. And fast.

Are we going to be talking about Sex?
Here's the thing about the theme sex...it's more about reclaiming desire and pleasure in your life and sex is only ONE way you can do this. You will learn multiple ways to live with more sensuality and feel more alive than you ever felt before.
My time and energy is already stretched.
Will one day really make me feel refreshed and less overwhelmed?
More than ever, as a high-achieving female you’re on overdrive, stuck in busy-mode and short on time. That’s why it’s vital to use the time you do have as wisely as possible to reap the most benefits on your journey to breaking free from burnout.
In the Sugar, Soul & Sex Live Event, you’ll find it doesn't take more time for you to feel relief and break free from burnout, it takes the right techniques and knowing how to apply them immediately to maximize what little time you do have right now.
How much woo-woo stuff is going to be involved?
Here's the thing. You’re not going to be sitting in a sweat lodge, with a bunch of strangers, passing a tambourine and chanting sanskrit together.
You will, however, learn techniques, concepts, and tips that may be completely new to you. My goal is to help you make new agreements with how you show-up to yourself and how you show up in life. Everything you’ll learn is spiritually based, but science backed.
"Thank you so much for your guidance and presence. Your unwavering calm and nonjudgemental mien, as well as your practical and useful exercises have given me a sounding board and a way to practice my new skills. "
